VCR's Self Maintaining Websites

This section features a few examples of websites VCR has created. They'll give you a feel for the type of solutions we can create for you. Long ago, we decided to create websites that we would donate to groups we belong to or support. Of course, we do it because we believe in these groups, but we also do it because we felt no company should learn new technologies at their customer's expense. As often as we can, we experiment with new concepts on our donated websites so that we'll be ready when our customers need those solutions. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

As a result, many of the features you'll see can be quickly and inexpensively readapted for you. To keep visitors coming back to your website you must provide interesting content that changes often. So, our philosophy is that your website should be self maintaining so that you don't have to pay us to keep your website current. Most pages we create can be changed by anyone (not computer experts), using special password protected pages we provide. We learned how to do this by donating websites to groups who have volunteers to regularly post information.
